Our Staff
Nancy E. Dirubbo, APRN, FAANP, graduated from the Children's Hospital School of Nursing and from the Northeastern University Family Nurse Practitioner Program. In 1985 she opened the Laconia Women's Health Center in Laconia, New Hampshire which is now one the oldest private NP practices in the United States . She provides continuing education programs for health professionals nationally and internationally.
She is a contributing author to Advanced Health Assessment of Women: Clinical Skills and Procedures, Second Edition / Edition 2.
She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Nurses' Association, the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. She recently became certified in Travel Mediicine by the ISTM. She is the past president of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association and Community Health and Hospice. In 2007 she was honored with being inducted as Fellow in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and received the Life Time of Service Award from NHNPA in 2009. She is serving on the Board of Directors of the American Travel Health Nurses Association.
Ms. Dirubbo has been published by the American Journal of Nursing, NP News, OB Gyn Forum, and The Nurse Practitioner Journal. 1998 she was interviewed on CBS's 60 Minutes.
Marie Kace brings a wealth of experience to her role a an administrative assistant at LWHC. She has been a medical assistant, x-ray technologist and a medical secretary and receptionist. She helps our patients with appointments, referrals, billing and can answer your questions about the business side of our practice.
